As we recognize the positive and beautiful things MLK JR. did for us let’s also educate ourselves and others on ways to continue the dream.... Blacks need to start ditching the "ghetto" mentality and look to the likes of M. L. King, Malcolm and Vivian Malone instead of Snoop Dogg, 50 cent and Jim Jones. There needs to be more black roll models and a desire to be more postive, the desire to be lawyers, doctors, senators etc. rather than gangsters. And realize you can be what ever you want! As black people we need to learn to love one another also. By hating your own allows others to hate us even more. We need to come together as people and strive to be more positive and help one another and build our culture back and stop letting BET and other media do that for us!! just some thoughts i had for today!... one love.
