I think its funny how much a women is misunderstood when she cuts her hair off. People act like women should never do such a thing. I think thats WACK for people to act like that!!
It brings me back to the time when i was told i couldnt wear pants to church cause it was man like! WTF!!!
I think its solid when a women can go against the standards of what was set for women and do her own thing and still be sexy while she does it!

Anthony Valadez podcast..
so this weekend i had the chance to hear a live set from mr. valadez at little temple and i must say dude is super dope. His show on KCRW is from midnight to 3am. I would love to hear more of his mixes during the day. I believe he would be able to re-train ears of radio for sure.

samples 101
a friend of mine was telling me how these past few days he's been digging up samples. I guess Madlib inspired him to [uhh] get creative...
so i had to get creative this morning as well. I was trying to break down this most recent Mos album to my boy from London. He hadn't got into the album just yet, but i was trying to explain that no emcee really [mainstream] is doing what he did on this album. SOOOOO many samples that are flipped | pretty ill if you ask me..
